Our polishing process

For extremely worn floors we start with low-grit metal bond diamonds to flatten uneven surfaces without damage. Medium worn floors get higher grit metal bond diamond grinding with fewer steps. Cracks are filled with cement-like solution after diamond grinding to ensure an even surface.

We densify twice when coloring is involved, once after 80 grit grinding and again after color application. Properly densified floors are much less prone to dusting and much more resistant to spills that cause staining.

The polishing progression runs 100 grit to 200, 400, optional color, 800, 1500, and finally 3000 grit. We use heavy-duty SASE machines rather than light-duty equipment to ensure proper pressure and closure of the concrete pores.

Equipment

Machines weigh over 1,200 lbs, delivering sufficient pressure for efficient grinding and consistent finish quality across large industrial surfaces.
